Ok Google, show me New York
Understanding the local market increases the chances of creative effectiveness.
For the re-launch of the OK Google mobile app, TEAM partnered with 72andsunny to extend Google’s TV campaign into non-traditional OOH placements woven into New York City’s urban landscape. TEAM procured rights to “never been done before” placements considered quintessential New York, such as Madison Square Garden, The Strand Bookstore, Radio City Music Hall and the Legendary Katz’s Deli. While most were in the heart of Manhattan, several could be discovered in unique locations like Brooklyn Bowl and the Biba Wall. All permitting, fabrication, installation and activations for 36 locations were secured in just under 3 weeks time. The campaign was named Adweek’s #1 Non-Traditional OOH Promotional Campaign of 2014.
