  1. Tell us a little about why you were drawn to Account Services as a career and what has kept you there?

Account Services is a department that gets to be involved and touch all aspects of the agency and work. I liked that you can be a business leader, but also have a strategic side, as well as a creative side. I’ve invested so much time in honing my skills that I can’t imagine doing anything else. I truly love what I do.

  2. What achievement are you most proud of to date?

Building a successful department from the ground up.

  3.  In your opinion, what is the key to your success?

Relentless passion and determination for doing the best possible work.

  4. If you could have any animal as a pet, what animal would you choose and why?

    A Llama-corn. Mic drop.

  5. As a female leader, what has been the most significant barrier in your career? ?

A mix of internal and external factors. Sometimes we can be our worst enemy and harshest critic limiting ourselves. There is also a lack of mentorship from other women in leadership roles; which is why I make it a personal goal to develop and mentor my team. You can hear me speak about creative women in leadership roles on 5/19 for The One Club Miami chapter.

  6. If you’re not at work, where can we typically find you?

If you know me, you know this is a trick question. At work. But I do enjoy a nice bike ride along the beach (if I’m not at work).

  7. If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?

I already have one — my memory.

  8. What is in the trunk of your car right now?

A manduka mat and boxing gloves.

  9. What advice would you give your younger self?

Trust your intuition. Don’t fear failure, because it’s not even an option.

  10. We hear you’re an avid traveler. When did you catch the travel bug?

At an early age, I was fortunate to travel a lot with my family and it just became part of my DNA. Getting out into the world to see and experience different cultures is so enriching.

  11. What do you look for when hiring someone to be part of your department/team?

That depends on the role, but must-haves are passion, drive, and a positive attitude. Persistence and consistency are always great too.

  12. What’s been your favorite thing about working in Experiential Marketing?

Having started my career in above the line agencies, I never really got to experience what we produced. It was a digital ad or a TV spot, but at TEAM we actually create experiences from idea to execution. It’s extremely rewarding to see our finished product and how consumers engage with our client’s brands. We give people memorable moments and meaningful experiences.

  13. If you had 1 extra hour of free time a day, how would you use it?

Here we go with the trick questions again. However, this time I’ll admit that I’d attend my yoga sessions more regularly.
