Ashley de Hechavarria, Creative Intern – Ashley is a recent grad from Colgate University. This dynamo barely had time to sleep over the last four years as she juggled working in the field of PR, serving as the Vice President of her class, and running Division I Track and Field. Through Colgate’s Student Government Association, she created and managed various lifestyle events for her senior class. Fluent in both Spanish and French, Ashley spent time volunteering as a teacher in Dijon, France for a semester. When it comes to travel tips, she is your go-to-girl. She applies her diverse cultural knowledge and interpersonal skills into her role as a strategy intern.
Daniel Engler, Account Services Intern – Daniel assists with Fair, Lavazza, Mary’s, and MINI USA. He’s currently attending Florida State University (WHOOP WHOOP GO NOLES!), where he is majoring in Advertising and minoring in General Business and Commercial Entrepreneurship. He is also heavily involved in multiple on-campus groups and organizations and is the President of the FSU Advertising Club. Daniel is also known to be extremely adventurous; he once climbed a mountain and rode a camel through the desert all in the same day! Emily Lombardi, Sampling Intern – Emily is studying Economics and Criminology at the University of Maryland. As a returning veteran, this is Emily’s second summer season with TEAM. Previously, she completed a pre-law internship where she had the opportunity to shadow different attorneys and observe trials. Through her sorority, Emily works very closely with the charity, Prevent Child Abuse of America to help with fundraising. In her off-season, she enjoys practicing photography and relaxing at the beach with friends. We are so excited to have her back with us and can’t wait to see where this season takes her.
Julia Rodriguez, Finance Intern – Julia is joining TEAM from the University of Florida where she serves as the Financial Vice President for her Sorority, Gamma Phi Beta. With the assistance of Financial Advisors and Chapter Officers, she managed a budget of over $1M! This included the collection of dues from active members and disbursements of funds to various vendors. She also collaborated with advisors to create semester payment structures and financial contracts for chapter members, there is truly nothing this rookie can’t handle. When she’s not crunching numbers, Julia admits that she’s quite the globetrotter — so far, her favorite destination has been Lake Como, Italy.
Selin Akyurek, Creative Intern – Selin is a Senior at Syracuse University studying Advertising and Photography. She’s been obsessed with commercials ever since she was a little girl in Istanbul and has been chasing her industry dreams around the world. Last semester, she studied abroad in Italy which helped her expand her horizons. As a member of TNH, the student advertising agency at Syracuse, she’s been able to work with real clients to dip her toes into the process of bringing ideas to life. Selin is excited to explore her passions for both Art Direction and Copywriting to get a better understanding of which path she wants to pursue further.
Eduardo Mendoza, Production Intern – Eduardo is a graduate from Florida State University where he studied Social Science, Economics, and Political Science. He admits to having contracted the travel bug early on and enjoys visiting new cities every chance he gets. Next stop, Tokyo, Japan! As a lover of sneakers, vintage watches, and style, his ultimate dream is to sit front row at a men’s fashion show in Milan or Paris. Eduardo started off his internship season working at TEAM’s immersive theatre experience, Amparo, and eventually transitioned to the Bacardi office where he is supporting the Production Department on projects across the portfolio.
Arantxa Leon, Social Media Intern – Arantxa comes to us with a background in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Broward College. With a combined background in film, radio, and social media management, she assists the Social Media Department with digital projects for clients such as Mary’s and The Real Havana Club. Oxana Lukyanchenko, Creative Intern – Oxana was born in Russia and comes to us from the Miami Ad School. She has a passion for full sensory installations and content, a thirst for traveling, and a relentless need to bring her ideas to life. Over the past five years, she has had the opportunity to live in five unique and vibrant cities. Most recently, she lived and toured on a bus for two months to create experiential installations at festivals across the country with like-minded musicians, artists, and engineers. One of her best creations so far is a fluffy pink bicycle that she built! We can’t wait to see what’s next but in the meantime check our her portfolio site HERE.
Michelle Rodriguez, Production Intern – Michelle is a student-athlete at Florida International University where she’s majoring in Marketing and Business. She is an All-Academic Women’s Golf athlete with a 4.0 G.P.A. She’ll be graduating in the Spring of 2020 and plans to become a professional golfer after completing her Bachelor’s degree. When she’s not hitting the books, you can find her on the links working on her craft. Michelle works with our Production Department to execute projects for clients such as BMW, Q Mixers, Mary’s, and Lavazza.
Vince Abella, Content Intern – Vince is currently a rising Senior at Florida Atlantic University where he is majoring in Communications and Multimedia Studies, with a film concentration. This season, he aims to learn different approaches to formulating ideas for future content. A man of many passions, Vince also enjoys spending time exploring new music, going to concerts, watching professional football, and living up to his self-proclaimed title of pizza aficionado. Vince is excited to join TEAM and spend the summer strengthening his interpersonal skills and technical skills relating to camera operation and editing.
